Diary Two - Chapter 1
Hi, new diary. You are my second diary that I have written. I guess I should introduce myself to you as well, huh? Here it goes....

Name: Daphne Aella
Age: Depending on what you want. My actual age is 30 years old but I look like 18 years old.
Height: I am short, okay?
Weight: A darn secret
Occupation: Goddess....student
Abilities: Wind and magic
Weak at: Sport, martial arts
Hobbies: Read, sleep and fly
Favourite food or things: Sweet or spicy food, plushies
Least favourite: Ask my sister....Bluurrrr...can't even stand the thought of it...that black(!) tiny creature......!
Hope we will get well together =)
And I sure hope that there won't be any hectic events written here like last time. It is a long shot but I can hope. My first diary, which had recorded the events in the past six months, was a total mess. It had been such a hectic and chaotic period, with the vampire rebellion and the war etc. Thank god She is at Zula's side again and is not making anymore trouble here. I hope she stays there for a long time. I doubt it though. She dislikes idleness.
My sister and her husband, Ian, are now living happily together and enjoying their newly-wed life, which they had been waiting for for six long months. Aaron (vampire) and I had become best friend (?) but he had gone to America to study. Meanwhile, some of the people I have met in the Academy, Thalasste, Francesca, Aila, Sheila, Lacy and Brenda, are now my good friends and would be studying at the Mixi Academy again with me.
Yes, a new school was built by the Order of the Maria and its name was Mixi Academy instead of the old one. The school name has changed in order for the students to forget about their tramautic, sad and frightening past. It is still magnificent like the old one though, with the magical garden etc.
I should introduce some people here before starting my diary officially:
Thalasste (Best friend, Water Goddess, one of the Higher Beings, a member of Order of Maria):
She is anti-social. Her assistant is a group of invisible water spirits, that only she can see. We can only see shiny spots.

Melanie (Best friend, is a Dark Goddess often called "Mother of the Dark", one of the Ancient Higher Beings, a member of Order of Maria) :
She controls all demons and spirits. She loves chaos. Her assistant is a sparrow called Mu. She is easy-going like her mother.
Her/She *Name temporarily secret* (Kept under control by Zula) :
She loves chaos same as Melanie. She is good at speed, telepathic, psychokinesis, martial art skills and teleportation. She loves coke extrememly. Her assistant is a panda, who has a kid panda.
Zula (Melanie's mother, Supervisor of Her, Zula is one of the Ancient Higher Beings, Watcher/Governor of all demons and underworld and Dark creatures):
Francesca (Princess of Abyssia, now currently one of the members of Order of Maria):
She was very snotty in the past but after having an experience of nearly being killed, she becomes more subduced and less snotty.
That's all I will introduce for now.
Time to start writing.....
15 January 2015
In the Academy hall
In the Academy hall
One week after the disruption ended, it was time to start school. I dress in the first clothes I can find in my messy closet...a red coat. It looks nice so I put it on and went to school.
I had time to spare as I had gotten up pretty early so I took the bus. There, I met Thalasste. I greeted her and she greeted me back. I sat on the window seat behind her. I knew that she dislikes chit-chatting/disturbance sometimes so I did not sit beside her. I know that feeling that you want to be alone sometime.
We reach the bus-stop near the Academy and alighted. As we walked together to the entrance of the Academy, we talked about the new changes around.
Here is part of our conversation:
Me: Have you seen the new headmaster? I heard that she is very fierce and super strict.
Thalasste: No, but I hear about those rumors. There is also a rumor that she loves to dress in black because she detests all those light emotions like friendship and love et cetera.
Me: Is she a member of the Order of Maria? We should have seen her if she was.
Thalasste: She is. But she keeps a low profile and works in the dark.
Me: One of those Noirs?
Thalasste: I guess so.
Me: I have never seen a Noir before. What is her name?
Thalasste: My supervisor says that her name is known as Garnet only.
Noirs were goddesses and gods that worked behind everyone's back. Some of them are assassins while the rest cleans up of any clues left behind by the others. Thalasste and I had a supervisor in the Order of Maria. The supervisor monitors our work. Thalasste's supervisor is Evadne, Goddess of Goodness, while mine is Autheuina, the Goddess of Light.
Me: I wonder what her rules will be. I hope it isn't too hard to follow.
Thalasste: I gather that whatever it is, it won't be a disturbance to me. She won't be organising any social events soon.
Me: That's true. But I heard that there is a new activity in the Academy implemented by the Order. Social dancing.
Thalasste: What? Why did they add that in?!
Me: Apparently, to restore their reputation and popularity further, the Order is going to organise a ballroom dancing "party" in September. Thus, every students have to learn how to dance properly for it.You know how much they values their reputation.
Thalasste: What a bother.
I agreed with her. That activity also means I have to bring along another set of clothes for the dancing.
We finally reached the school gate. This time, not only is there a scanner for our school card for security, there is also a magical scanner. The Order is not taking its chance again after the attack last time.
After we passed through the scanners, we met Lacy and Brenda, who are stepsisters. Lacy spotted us first.
Lacy: Hi, Thalasste and Aella!
Brenda turned to look at us after hearing Lacy's greeting.
Brenda: What a nice way to start the day. It has been a week since we have met, hasn't it?
Me: Hi, Brenda, Lacy. Nice to meet you here too.
Thalasste just nodded in acknowledgement and said hi. We walked together towards the hall.
Lacy: Where did you buy that bag? It looks so pretty.
Me: It's a branded ("jewel") bag from Katherine's shop.
Lacy: Katherine? I heard that the items there are mostly branded and are very expensive.
Me: That's true. Francesca introduced me the shop. She said it's the one of the shops befitting her princess status. You can buy second-hand goods of Katherine's shop in the auctions but sometimes the items there are bidded beyond the original price and it's hard to get it sometimes. I found that the items there are rare as they are only produced for a short period so I frequently buy from there.
Lacy: I guess I can try the auction. I don't think I can afford buying from there.
Me: Best of luck. I hate the auctions. I always get outbidded at the last few seconds.
Lacy: Me too. But this bag is so cute.....
Me: There are cheaper items ("ribbon item") in the shop too. They usually aren't as nice as the branded ones but some of the items are really pretty and or cute too. And the good thing is they are quite rare too. You can try your luck there too.
Lacy: By your tone, I guess they are very rare, huh?
Me: I like the items from the older seasons better. Too bad, the second-hands are super expensive in the market.
Lacy: That's too bad indeed.
Me: Yes....but I like some of the new items there too. Like that house type bag that comes out today. It is so cute! Just like a real house. (excitedly)
Lacy: You arouse my curiousity. Take me there after school, ok?
Me: I will be glad to.
Lacy turned to T and B: Thalasste, Brenda, are you going too?
Thalasste: Katherine's shop? I guess I can go. It has been two weeks since I go there.
Brenda: Do we even have enough money for it? It's an expensive shop.
Francesca (suddenly from behind us): No matter. I will pay the rest.
We all turned around. Francesca is right behind us with her three bodyguards, who are one human, one vampire and one god.
Lacy: Hi, Francesca. Wow, you sure surpassed yourself today. Isn't that a gown?
Francesca (rolling her eyes): I was wearing a simple dress earlier on but my parents said I should wear a formal dress for the first day to such a formal place. I keep arguing it is just a school and they just force me into this. They are way too concerned that I am now a member of the Order of Maria.
Francesca today:
Brenda: It looks pretty though.
Me: I saw that one before. It is also from Katherine's shop, isn't it?
Francesca nodded.
Brenda: By the way, speaking of Katherine's shop, we appreciate your kindness in offering to pay for the item partially but we can't take your money.
Lacy: Yeah. It's ok, we will just buy those cheaper ("ribbon") items.
At this time, we had reached the entrance of the Academy hall. We went in silently and took our seat. It is a rule that we must be silent in the hall.
After sometime, the bell rang to signal the start of the school.
I stopped writing here then. Headmaster Garnet is coming onstage. Talk to you later.
Chapter 2
15 January 2015
At home
I met Aila in the classroom. We greeted each other. During the lesson, her only pen ran out of ink and I offered her one of my pens. When I can't see what the teacher is drawing nor how to copy it, she helped me out too. She is a much better artist than me.
After school has ended, I meet Thalasste, Brenda and Lacy outside the school gate, preparing to go to the Katherine's shop. Francesca had her after-school royal lesson and thus did not accompany us.
Katherine shop is five bus-stops and a couple of miles away. It is located near a celebrity shop where clothes worn on a celebrity before are sold there. Of course, those items there are expensive too.
We went into the shop. The bell dinged as we stepped inside. It is a lovely place with mannequins wearing some pretty and or cute clothes, as well as clothes and items on display. The clothes were on hangars in racks and put in different sections according to their themes. I saw one for morocco theme. The shop is separated into two parts, one of branded items ("jewel"), another of cheaper items ("ribbon").
Lacy came over to me after a while. She was holding a branded white "kiss me shirt".
Lacy: I am going to buy this. How does it look on me?
Me: It looks great! If you still aren't sure, you can try it out in the fitting room.
Lacy went to find a fitting room.
I saw Brenda frowning in the cheaper items section and went to her.
Me: How is it going?
Brenda: Hmm...I am thinking about this "stripe ribbon" hat. It looks cute but I am not sure whether it fits me.
Me: Try it on.
Brenda tentatively put the hat on her head.
Me: You look good.
Brenda: Really?
Thalasste, who had got bored of the items since many are not to her style, went over to us.
Thalasste: She's right. It does look good on you.
Brenda finally decided to buy the hat after a while. She also took a couple of other things. Lacy, who had finished trying the shirt, also decided to buy the shirt. She used her new credit card to pay that expensive shirt and her other purchases, one of them is the branded "house-type bag" I told her. Only Thalasste and I did not buy anything.
Katherine, the shop owner, rang up our purchases. She gave Lacy and Brenda coupons for their purchases.
Lacy: What is this?
Me: You will get a coupon ("shell") for every $100 purchase. When you get 5 coupons ("shells"), you can exchange it for a free gift.
Brenda's eyes lit up at the mention of free gifts.
Brenda: What are the free gifts? Nintendo?
Me: The gifts are drawn out randomly. If you are lucky, you will get an expensive exclusive clothes or items. Otherwise, you will usually get a pretty useless or normal plain item.
Lacy: I hope I got the lucky gift!
Brenda: Let's combine our coupons to get the gift then.
Lacy and Brenda put their five coupons into a shell-shaped machine ("shell spring") as instructed for their chance of the free gift. The machine made some noise before spitting out the free gift. Unfortunately, they get a "normal" gift, a "ball beads"necklace.
Brenda: Not bad. I can wear it.
Lacy (slightly disappointed): Hmmm....could be better.
We left the shop. We bumped into Francesca outside the shop in the street.
Lacy: Francesca! Has your lesson ended?
Brenda: Buying clothes from Katherine's shop too?
Francesca: Yes, my lesson just ended. I am going to the secret shop.
Lacy (puzzled): Secret shop?
Thalasste and I knew what she meant. There is a shop that only caters to special guests and their friends. I was able to buy from it once as I was invited by a friend, who was one of the special guests allowed.
I explained briefly to Lacy and Brenda after Francesca left.
Before we went home, we chatted in the cafe (poupee cafe) about the things we learned today and gossips. Even Thalasste, who is quite an introvert, enjoys it too. Then, to mark this outing, we went to the photo booths ("pupecula") inside a building. We had fun taking photos in different background provided by the photo-taking machine.
After that, we went home, with a smile on everyone's face.
That's all for today. Time for me to start tackling on my homework and to stop procrastinating. Talk to you tomorrow.
Today's Homework Assignments:
- Math // Geometric (Boring...)
- English // My worst subject ever ><
- Biology // So many things to remember. Big headache coming
- Art // Aacckk! Drawing! Mine always looks weird
- History // Those years and dates.....what a bother
At home
To continue from where I left off....there is actually nothing interesting during the assembly talk. Headmaster Garnet did not talk much, just that she will be watching us closely for any misbehaviour. She also mentioned that there is the social dancing activity every Thursday. After that, our lessons started and we separated. Francesca is on the third floor Classroom A, Lacy and Thalasste are in Classroom D on the first floor, Brenda is in Classroom B on the third floor and I am in Classroom S on the fourth floor.
I met Aila in the classroom. We greeted each other. During the lesson, her only pen ran out of ink and I offered her one of my pens. When I can't see what the teacher is drawing nor how to copy it, she helped me out too. She is a much better artist than me.

Here's a brief drawing of the shop layout:
Lacy was excited over all the cute items and looked over them, gushing in delight. Brenda sensibly went to look at the cheaper ("ribbon") items that she can afford. Thalasste went to look at the recent goods. I had already bought everything (clothes and items) I wanted so I went to the branded perfume section to smell and try out the perfumes.
Lacy came over to me after a while. She was holding a branded white "kiss me shirt".

Chapter 3
16 January 2015
At home
I had a sweet dream about candies and chocolate. Thus, I woke up to an urge to dress in candy. I rummage through my closet, which was getting more and more unkempt, and managed to pull out a pink dress, that I had bought from Katherine's shop ages ago. I had almost forgotten about it. I don't normally wear pink but I decided to make an exception this time, especially when I am in a good mood today. It is slightly covered in dust though. I had to flap it to make it tidy and clear.
Me today:
As I had wasted too much time in finding the clothes, I was nearly late for school and had to fly instead of taking the bus. When I finally reached the Academy, most of the students had gone to their classrooms. I didn't see any of my friends.
In my classroom, Aila greeted me and I said hi back. She signaled that she will talk to me after the lessons as the bell had rang.
There is a two hour break after the Economics lesson and History lesson. Aila, sitting beside me, finished tidying her things up and turned to me.
Aila: I am meeting Sheila, May and Francesca at the school cafeteria. Do you want to join us?
Me: Okay.
Sheila, May and Francesca were classmates and good friends with one another. Sheila was Aila's childhood friend. Sheila knows May well but she is not close to Francesca, whereas I know Francesca well but not with May. We stood up and walked downstairs, chatting along the way.
Aila: It is the dancing activity tomorrow.....I so dreaded it
Me: Me too. What if I step on my partners, whoever he is, feet? I will be totally mortified.
Aila: Worse, I heard that we need to wear a very formal long dress or a gown for it.
Me (surprised): A gown? That's idiotic. We aren't even in the actual event itself. Gown will make me trip even more with its long skirt.
Aila: I don't even have a gown. For god's sake, I don't even have a dress, let alone formal ones! Where can I go and find one at such a short notice?
Me (uncertain): I am sure they aren't that strict. You can just find any long dress for the time being.
Aila: I don't know where to find one.
I was about to reply when Sheila spoke up. We had reached the cafeteria, near Sheila, May and Francesca's seats. They had heard us.
Sheila (curious): Find what?
Aila sank onto the sofa, next to Sheila, with a sigh. I sat next to Francesca.
Aila (grumbly): A dress.
Sheila (shocked): You? In a dress? I am your childhood friend and I have never seen you in a dress.
Then, she grinned impishly.
Sheila (grinning): Tell me, did you have a boyfriend and want to look pretty?
Aila (glaring at her): NO! It's for that dance!
Francesca: I have heard that it needs a long dress or a gown indeed.
Sheila: Darn. Here I was hoping to get away with weaing a shirt and a mini skirt to show off my long legs.
Aila: Yeah, yeah, stop boasting about your good look.
Sheila (slightly annoyed and smug): I was just stating a fact.
Me: I was about to tell Aila where to find a good dress.
Francesca: I'd bet I know where. Katherine's shop, right?
May, who was a non-talkative person, spoke up suddenly.
May: It does have some nice clothes, provided you have enough money and luck.
Sheila: You sound bitter, May. Bad experiences?
Aila: What is that place, anyway?
May: Whenever I go there, it was either themes that I disliked very much or all the things I wanted are branded ("jewel") and I cannot afford them at all.
Meanwhile, at the same time, Francesca turned to Aila.
Francesca: Katherine's shop is a shop that sells expensive branded goods and some cheaper ("ribbon") items.
Aila (turning from Francesca to May): Wow, the items must be very expensive, guessing from your tone.
Me: They are expensive indeed. But I doubt that you will find anything much that you like there, Aila. They have little sport wear. But it might be good to find a dress there first. Maybe there is a cheap long dress for sale.
Sheila (sounding a bit interested): Do you think there is anything for me?
I shrugged.
Aila sighed and said in resignation: I will go there to find a darned dress then.
Sheila: I will go with you!
Francesca: I will go along too. I need to go to the celebrity shop as well to check for new updates.
Me: I guess I will go along then. There might be new items.
May (quietly): I have tuition after school so please excuse me.
Aila: Such trouble for a stupid dance....
Francesca: Hmm...seems like everyone is disturbed by this dancing activity.....
Aila: I don't mind it if it is just a simple party and I can wear anything I want. But this!
Me: I dislike dancing. But if there is food, I will be there.
Francesca (looking excited): I know what to perk everyone up. Why don't I organise a party in my ballroom and invite everyone? Then, everyone can have fun and take their stress about the dance away. And I will supply the food too.
Sheila (excited): Great idea! I can finally wear my new mini skirt and show off my great dance!
Aila (eyes gleaming with delight): Cool! Exactly what I wanted!
Me: Good idea. As long as it is not too much of a trouble for you, Francesca.
Francesca: No, it's ok. It is a small matter.
May (speaking up): What do we need to bring?
Francesca (smiling): Just bring yourself.
Sheila: Hey, I have an idea! Let's make it a cosplay party! I want to be a sexy devil.
Aila: You read my mind! (Aila high-fived Sheila) I was thinking of going there as a rock star.
Sheila: No surprise there. What about you, Aella?
Me (excited): I can be a detective.
Aila: Whoosh. You like being a detective?
Me: It has always been my dream wish. But I am not observant nor deductive enough.
Sheila: No way. You are so clever.
Francesca: Are you going as Sherlock Holmes?
Me: I guess so, except I have no deerstalker hat or pipe.
Aila: We aren't that strict. Just wear a normal hat or go without a hat and pipe.
Francesca: I can lend you my father's old pipe.
Me (to Francesca): Thanks!
Francesca: Alright, that is decided then, I shall make it as a cosplay party.
Sheila turned to May.
Sheila: What will you be wearing?
May (thinking for a while before saying quietly): .....I guess I will..... wear as a...... witch.
Aila: Awesome idea. You will look good as a witch.
Sheila (grinning and suggesting): Bring along a spell book and a broom, wear a witch hat and you will look exactly the part of a cute witch.
May blushed and said thank you.
After chatting for so long, we were thirsty and hungry. We went to find food and drinks.
Later, after school, we went to Katherine's shop. I am the only one who went there for the second time in a week. I am thus not really enthusiastic about it. But it was cool to see Sheila's happiness at the lolita items and Aila's slight joy at finding punk clothes ("ribbon"), even if they were not very rocky. Aila also admired the guitars on display, but cannot buy them as they are too expensive ("jewel").
We then tried to find a suitable long dress for Aila, which wasn't easy, I have to say. She is not used to wearing a dress and had an awkward expression. Her hairstyle looked a bit unsuitable for a long dress or gown too. Finally we agreed on a dress. One and a half hour flew by in the shop.
At home

Aila's dress and her:
We originally suggested the pink one but she refused to look pink (after saying no offense to me), and chose the black one. We shrugged and let her choose that.
Sheila bought a lot of items, mainly from the cheaper section. Aila bought the long black dress, a "studs bag" and other punk-style clothes.
Like Lacy and Brenda, they got five coupons too and exchanged them for a free gift at the shell-looked machine. They got a blue "dot eco-bag".
We met Francesca at the cafe. Sheila ordered a sundae, Aila had a coffee drink as she was going for a badminton practice later on, Francesca had red tea and I had coke. After chatting for twenty minutes or so, Sheila suddenly suggested something.
Sheila (cheerfully): Why don't we go to the amusement park? It is just one bus-stop away.
Aila: But I am in a rush.....
Sheila: Your badminton practice started one hour after. Don't bluff me with that excuse. I knew that you are just bored with the amusement park.
Aila: Of course I am bored! I have been going with you to that place since we were thirteen years old!
Sheila (defensively): I love amusement park.
Aila was about to say something when I interrupted their argument.
Me: Actually...I like amusement park too. It's been ages since I went there.
Sheila (smug): See? It is a good idea to go to the amusement park.
Francesca: I had my own amusement park back at home but I am the only one there. This could be fun. There will be many people around for this public amusement park.
Aila (resigned and outvoted): Fine. We will go to the amusement park.
After about thirty minutes, we reached the amusement park. It was quite huge with many attractive games.
There are many fun places. There is a stall that makes you shoot balloons from some distances away. There is a stall that has moving plastic ducklings and you have to hit as many of them with a tiny arrow. There is a ferris wheel that has many lights.
The most special place is the lottery boxes and claw cranes (vending machines game). There are two sections of lottery boxes and claw cranes. One section of the claw cranes contain rare and expensive items. Only the special cards drawn from the expensive section of the lottery boxes can be used to play these. Each play of the lottery wheel is very expensive here. If any of the cards you drew out has a letter with a special star mark on it, you can play the claw crane. One star card for one play. You will get the prize when you catch it in the claw crane. You can also draw out ten cards all of different letters to get a very special rare bonus prize.
It is similar for the other section, which is more cheaper. The claw cranes in the section here contains "normal" or plain or tiny items like keychains. Similarly, the special star and letter card can let you play. Each card for each play. But the letter is all the same for the cards in this section. There is no special rare bonus prize.
An interesting game indeed ("poupee catcher game").
Francesca went to play in the expensive section while Sheila, Aila and I played the cheaper one. Francesca got a huge white teddy bear, Aila got a ribbon, Sheila got a tiny doremon (which look a bit different from actual one) phone strap and I got a flower keychain.
After that, Aila had to bid us goodbye before she went for her badminton practice. Francesca, Sheila and I went to other places for more fun. We went to the House of Mirror, very short boat ride, and the roller coaster. We ate lots of food along the way too, like candy floss. (Wow...like in my candy dream! > <)
It was an exhausting day after we finally quit and went home. Yet, we are really happy as well. At least for me. I had so much fun.
That's all for today. I am pretty tired and still needs to tackle my assignments. I hope I don't fall asleep in the middle of doing my homework......See ya.......zzzzz...*bang my head to stay awake*
